Giving Back

Because we believe giving back is an essential part of corporate citizenship, we’re dedicated to promoting the needs of our communities. Newport promotes community involvement among employees through our Volunteerism Policy, allowing employees to take paid time off to participate in volunteer activities.

Our organization and our employees also contribute to charitable events throughout the year by partnering with Shoes That Fit, a national organization that primarily provides shoes to children in need. Something as basic as a pair of shoes helps build and improve the self-esteem of a child and allows him and her to attend school in comfort and with dignity.

Every child deserves shoes that fit, and we are proud to be a corporate sponsor of this organization. Since 2012, our company and our employees have helped more than 3,700 children in local communities by donating nearly 7,000 pairs of new shoes and jackets.
